Axel Fabritius graduated in geophysics (MSc) in 1995. After graduation he started working in the field of applied geophysics for GTC Kappelmeyer GmbH, an internationally oriented consulting company situated within the geotechnical sector and especially in the field of leakage detection and leakage monitoring systems for dams and embankments.
During his work with GTC he was involved in various international dam construction and rehabilitation projects. He was also involved in an European research project in Soutz-sous-Forêts, which is dedicated to the development of geothermal energy.
Axel is currently working as a freelancer for GTC and other consulting companies. With more than 20 years experience in dam safety and renewable energies he is responsible project manager of Pumped Hydroelectric Storage Schemes for Organic Power.
